Gautham Mayilvaganan missed a podium chance due to mechanical failure

Chennai based racer Gautham Mayilvaganan took part in the UAE Championship supersport 600cc this weekend in Dubai. Gautham who qualified 6th had an amazing start in Race 1 and was fighting for 2nd while his bike´s arm pump let off and had to retire on Lap5. 

In Race 2 Gautham had to start from end of the pack due to his earlier retirement but fought hard to make ground upto 4th place while ultimately finishing in 6th.

Gautham Mayilvaganan :"I qualified 6th, race one had a grt start and was on 2nd till 5th lap and has to retire from the race due to major arm pump. Race 2 because of DNF in race 1, I started the race from 14th at the last grid and was fighting for 4th and finished 6th"
